Philosophy

I’m noticing a recent trend of people putting a particular interest in their Facebook profile or in other areas:

 

“I study philosophy.”

 

Yeah…..you don’t.  I know you think it makes you sound intelligent, interesting and well-read, but no one believes you.  And we shouldn’t believe you.  It’s especially hard to believe when one of your primary pictures is you and three other girls holding Bud Lights and screaming at a concert.  Plus, you failed out of community college.  If you were bright enough to “study” philosophy, you might’ve aced Algebra first and paved the way.  Take the philosophy books that you found in the bargain bin at Border’s while you were picking up the latest issue of Cosmo off of your coffee table and toss ‘em.  Today.
