Irregardless is not a word

Irregardless is not a word.  Regardless is a word, and irrespective is a word…but you can’t combine the two into a fictional word and use it in a sentence without sounding like an idiot.

And you LOSE something, you do not LOOSE it.  Something can be LOOSE, but it’s not a verb, it’s an adjective.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t use any public forum to try to rid the world of these two pet peeves of mine!
